There is life beyond academia

• I was born and raised in the southeast area of Brazil.

• I first came to the U.S. in 2012 to study abroad as an undergrad student. 2016, I permanently moved to the country to pursue my doctoral degree and became a citizen in 2021.

• I love traveling and learning about the richness of people and cultures in the world. 

• Cooking is my favorite hobby. 

•  The beach is my happy place.
